People & Culture Assistant, 12 Months FTC — Grimsby. Location: Laforey Road, Grimsby. Salary: Competitive. Industry: Human Resources and Personnel.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional and experienced People and Culture Assistant to join our growing team. As a People & Culture Assistant you will provide day to day administrative and ER support within the People & Culture team. To act as a point of contact between People & Culture and its customers handling queries and requests as they come in. To support the People & Culture team and wider business providing guidance and support to both employees and management teams.
Key responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support – Processing contractual changes, e-filing and general administration for the department.
- Monitor and respond accordingly to HR inbox emails in a timely fashion, or forward to the correct team member
- Manage the probationary process, liaising with managers where required, ensuring reviews are conducted, recorded and scored. To make confirmations in writing to employees
- Maintain accurate records using TMS and e files
- Producing daily KPI\’s / Weekly KPI\’s, attendance to DRM 2 as required
- Providing support to the Senior People and Culture Business Partner
- Scheduling of disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings
- Attending and preparing documentation for lower to mid-level disciplinary hearings
- Absence management – Daily updating and monitoring of TMS absence records and prompting required action with line managers, booking occupational health referrals
- Supporting new and on-going People & Culture Projects
- To champion and uphold the standards and practices of the ETI base code within the team and wider business, report and resolve any situations that may arise in the work place where a standard is not being met
Required experience/expertise
- Intermediate level proficiency of Microsoft Office
- CIPD qualified – Foundation level or working towards qualification (desirable, not essential)
- Excellent written and oral skills in English – Minimum GCSE C level
