Overview
In this role you will support informed decision making by preparing and presenting weekly financial and operational performance insights. You will manage live costing data and collaborate with non-financial teams to improve cost control. The scope includes pricing, CPI considerations, and involvement in new product launches, with opportunities to drive process improvements in finance. You will work as part of a larger finance function to ensure timely month-end processes and audit readiness, contributing to the company’s commercial goals and efficiency culture.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse and present weekly financial and operational performance reports to support decision making
- Manage a live costing file and validate customer cost debit notes
- Process promo funding via customer and internal systems and weekly reports
- Analyse cost movements and their impact on margins at SKU level
- Collaborate with non-financial departments to improve cost control
- Work with the finance costing function on new product launches and EPD to keep data up to date
- Provide commercial with customer-friendly documents to support CPI requests and cost increases
- Support customer pricing cycles and CPI calculations
- Support wider finance team with audit requirements
- Assist in finance process improvement projects and the monthly transition from weekly reporting to month-end
- Provide support to other parts of the finance function when required
Key requirements
- AAT qualified
- FMCG experience or high FMCG management accounting experience
