Role: Logistics Coordinator – Full time, permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Creation and action of forward delivery plans for inbound stock received via air and sea freight.
- Transport bookings with a network of hauliers, both groupage and full trailer loads.
- Processing sales orders, creating associated delivery paperwork.
- Goods receipting of all inbound deliveries within an ERP system (SAP).
- Post goods issue of all deliveries within 24 hrs of being physically made, to ensure timely payment against invoices.
- Weekly stock reconciliations of storage locations, to ensure accurate data management.
- Liaise directly with global service providers.
- Proactively look for improvement to the supply chain network, identifying opportunities in cost reduction or process efficiency.
- Provide feedback to commercial teams relating to delivery plans.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a logistics and stock management environment.
- Numerate, analytical and adept at Microsoft packages.
- Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Building relationships with service providers and fellow team members.
- Full driving licence.
