The Role
As Line Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of your assigned production line. You will work closely with the Shift Manager and Production Manager to ensure shift targets are met safely and consistently. You will support continuous improvement by embedding strong processes and ways of working, motivate your team, and support their development in a fast-paced production environment. Clear communication and strong leadership are essential in this people-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily production activity of your assigned line and team
- Communicate production information clearly to colleagues and management
- Ensure full product traceability through accurate completion of paperwork
- Support the implementation and improvement of production processes
- Motivate colleagues and support team development through cross-training
- Monitor performance and escalate underperformance where required
As a result, your leadership will directly support safety, quality, and output targets.
