PURPOSE OF ROLE
This Newly Qualified Legal Counsel role is to join our in-house legal team to assist with and provide legal support and advice across the organisation to ensure compliance and mitigate risk while enabling business growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Draft, review, and maintain a variety of commercial agreements (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.).
- Provide guidance on contractual obligations and risk management.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal issues relating to commercial operations, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical advice.
- Work closely with business units to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
- Liaise with external counsel where necessary and manage associated costs.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
