The Talent & Succession Manager supports the global approach to internal talent development across Hilton Foods. Sitting within the central People & Culture team, this role plays a key part in enhancing and delivering internal development programmes, embedding the annual Talent & Succession cycle, strengthening succession health, and supporting the development of talent identification and succession processes through our HRIS.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Project manage the development and rollout of global approaches to succession health, internal mobility, and career pathways, ensuring effective adoption across the organisation.
- Own the coordination and continuous improvement of Hilton Foods’ internal talent development programmes with a primary focus on strengthening succession health and identifying emerging talent earlier and further down the organisation.
- Project manage end-to-end programme cycles, from talent identification and nominations through to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement, ensuring programmes actively feed pipelines for critical and future roles.
- Maintain robust data on talent pipelines and succession plans across pathways, providing clear visibility of bench strength, readiness, and risk at multiple organisational levels.
- Deliver and continuously improve reporting on succession health and talent flow, enabling evidence-based decisions on where to develop internally, hire externally, borrow capability, or automate.
- Support the annual Talent & Succession cycle by preparing toolkits, guidance, and upskilling capability to embed consistent talent identification and assessment practices.
- Partner with HRIS and People & Culture systems teams to enhance talent and succession functionality (e.g. talent grids, critical roles, succession depth, readiness indicators), enabling scalable tracking and decision-making.
- Experience in talent management, development programmes, or succession planning.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working with talent data and generating insight from HR systems.
- Confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with talent identification frameworks such as 9-box grids or critical role mapping.
- Able to balance attention to detail with a strategic mindset.
This fixed-term contract is offered till January 2027 to cover Maternity leave.
