We are now looking for an experienced Quality Systems Manager to design, implement and maintain onsite technical systems in order to comply with Hilton Foods customer, legal, food safety and authenticity requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and annual review of the Site Quality Manual to ensure compliance and relevance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all site technical processes and procedures.
- Lead and manage the site HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) teams, ensuring the HACCP plan is effectively implemented and continuously improved.
- Manage the site TACCP (Threat Assessment and Critical Control Points) programme to mitigate potential threats to food safety.
- Maintain robust document control systems across the site to ensure accuracy and accessibility of technical documentation.
- Co-lead external audits and customer visits, ensuring the site is audit-ready and compliant with all relevant standards.
- Maintain and enhance site technical risk assessments, ensuring they reflect current operations and risks.
- Oversee the completion and verification of site cleaning validation activities, including allergen and speciation testing, on an annual basis.
- Manage the site pest control contract, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Lead the maintenance of supplier risk assessments and associated documentation to ensure supplier compliance and food safety assurance.
Qualifications
- Have the ability to liaise with the site management teams.
- Have experience in HACCP and quality management systems.
- Ensure effective lines of communication are in place within the Technical Department.
- Pro-actively engage the Technical Management team with ideas for development.
- To have a food related degree or equivalent and to have experience in food processing.
