What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional and experienced Production Scheduler to be responsible for daily stock reconciliation summary, production scheduling, and processing of orders for the Estate Road site.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of all customer orders for the site.
- Creating and publishing daily updated plans and schedules for process and packing to provide all relevant departments with a daily snapshot of current stock/demand and highlight potential issues.
- Working with planning and procurement to ensure all components and raw materials are available at the site in a timely manner.
- Managing raw material shelf life via coordination with procurement and operations.
- Liaising with outside cold stores to accept stock and arrange trials of new intakes.
- Ordering components within lead‑time to ensure full availability for production and monitoring key KPIs: Plan Attainment, OEE, Service Level.
- Providing cover for other members of the planning team.
- Adhering to all Hilton Seafood health and safety procedures and sharing continuous improvement ideas that may contribute to health and safety, equipment uptime, or maintenance cost improvements.
- Ensuring planned maintenance work is completed on time and communicating further work required to the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.
- Flexibility to work across sites.
- Having a flexible approach to hours of work and working within the team to provide engineering cover to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensuring good food manufacturing practices are always maintained.
