The Role
As a Butcher / Skilled Knife Hand, you will carry out core processing tasks to the highest standard. You will focus on delivering consistent quality while meeting yield and performance targets. You will work closely with the Team Leader to identify issues, resolve problems, and share ideas for improvement. You will have access to further training to develop your skills if you wish to progress. Attention to detail and safe knife handling are essential in this fast-paced, practical role.
Key Responsibilities
- Process product to required quality and specification standards
- Achieve target yields while minimising waste
- Follow all health and safety and food hygiene requirements
- Work closely with the Team Leader to identify issues and improvements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working area
As a result, your work will directly support production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
