Job Description
As Accounts Payable Assistant, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations across our business. This part time role (0.5 FTE) is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
- Inputting and updating data
- Performing bank reconciliations (training provided if required).
- Preparing weekly supplier payment runs
- Raising purchase orders for intercompany recharges.
- Managing the accounts payable inbox.
- Carrying out company card reconciliations.
Selection Criteria
- Essential:
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to cope with repetitive tasks
- Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver accurately and on time
- A collaborative team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Desirable:
- Experience with XERO (accounting leger)
- Familiarity with ApprovalMax (purchase order and invoice processing)
- Knowledge of Airwallex (payment system)
