Training Co-ordinator

Role title: Training Coordinator Salary: Competitive Location: Estate Road, Grimsby Hilton Seafoods is seeking a Training Coordinator to join their Training team. The role involves managing a team of five direct reports and reporting to the Training Manager. You will develop, deliver, and maintain training and development activities aligned with the Hilton Foods Learning and Development strategy. This position is vital in supporting sites to ensure colleagues meet all safety, legal, and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include: Building business awareness and developing relationships with departments to anticipate learning needs. Aligning training plans with company objectives and KPIs. Collaborating with the business and SMEs to identify solutions for learning needs. Researching and curating appropriate learning options. Planning and organizing internal and external training events, managing provider relations, and supporting delivery cycles. Mentoring and coaching SMEs on learning design and delivery. Utilizing the learning management system effectively to maintain accurate training records and ensure timely organization of training sessions. Upskilling the team through coaching and effective training methods, leading the site training team. Managing the HMRC DAS apprentice account, linking training providers, and maintaining cohort details. Providing targeted support for apprentices, work placements, and graduates. Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the annual training budget and forecasts. Candidate requirements: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills at all levels within the organization. Basic understanding of training methods and LMS systems.
