Position: Raw Material Quality Auditor (RMQA)
Salary: Competitive
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00-19:00 (with flexibility required)

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Raw Material Quality Auditor (RMQA) to join our growing Technical team. As a Raw Material Quality Auditor (RMQA), you will ensure accurate sampling and inspection assessment of incoming raw materials (including packaging and ingredients) against the relevant specification.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivery of the due diligence requirements depicted within the raw material specification and the site quality documentation (Packaging and Ingredients).
- Management of the stock status and stock movements of incoming and receipted raw materials for inspection, quarantine and other purposes.
- Timely clearance of (in spec) inspected raw material, to ensure it is always available for operational use.
- Raise and follow up non-conformance reports with the relevant Raw Material supplier and Hilton Seafood buyer.
- Ensure they are closed and that this information is captured within foods connected, supporting the generation of supplier scorecards and supplier performance reports.
- In conjunction with the Buying team help to generate Supplier Improvement plans.
- To drive improvement forwards with the Raw material Team leader/Manager.
- Follow up and support the close out of raw material (including packaging and ingredients) issues, raised by the production teams.
- Trending the information to allow robust preventative action plans to be instigated in conjunction with the Raw material team leader/Manager.
- Support the NPD, Technical and Operational team in development trials of new raw materials and launches in conjunction with the Raw material Team Manager.
- Provide RMQA data and traceability information for customer requests during audits and visits and to support customer complaint/RCA investigations as appropriate.
- Implement and report corrective actions and system improvements as identified via internal/external audits and/or customer visits, to improve the efficiency of the RMQA team.
Required experience/expertise:
- QA experience across a fast moving chilled environment.
- Experience of working to retailer codes of practice.
- Experience in QA systems, both implementing and continually improving them.
- Full UK Driving licence.
