About the role:

You will gain a strong understanding of key engineering principles, including how refrigeration systems are designed, installed, maintained, and repaired. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll build practical skills while learning to follow strict health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times. This role is designed to help you grow your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and confidence, while studying towards your Level 3 apprenticeship qualification and building the foundations for a long-term career in engineering.

As an Apprentice Refrigeration Engineer some of the responsibilities will be to:

  • Attend college and complete all set training in a timely fashion and to the correct pass rate.
  • Shadow site engineering mentor and follow instructions for onsite learning.
  • Follow all health and safety and site rules.
  • Have good time and attendance.

To succeed as an Apprentice Refrigeration Engineer we ask that you have the following:

  • Good level of GCSE in English, Maths and Science.
  • A real want to learn.
  • An interest in mechanical or electrical practices.
  • A desire to think through problems to fix things.
