About the role:
We are now looking for an experienced Day Shift Engineer who will be providing breakdown cover when the factory is in production and to carry out PPM on all machinery.
As a Day Shift Engineer some of the responsibilities will be to:
β Maintenance of a wide variety of equipment within a fresh food processing and packing operation, including Baader, Marel and Multivac.
β Responding to breakdowns of high-speed lines minimising line downtime
β Adherence to the planned maintenance system
β Taking ownership of small projects within the department
β Working within Hilton Group H&S Framework to promote good H&S Culture and best practice
β Trained to issue permits to work and contractor permit monitoring
β Ensuring that good food manufacturing practices are maintained at all times.
To succeed as a Day Shift Engineer we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
β Previously worked in similar FMCG environment
β Specific equipment knowledge and experience preferable
β Time Served recognised apprenticeship
β At least 3 years\β experience beyond this apprenticeship
β BTEC Level 3 or above in Engineering Discipline
