We are seeking a positive, supportive and experienced Regional Support and Wellbeing Manager to strengthen support for our Local Managers and help promote a sustainable, professional and positive working environment across our services. This is a supportive and advisory role, not a supervisory role, with no change to existing reporting lines or decision-making authority.

Working closely with the Director of Services, Director of Care and Head Office, the successful candidate will provide additional capacity, guidance and practical assistance to Local Managers, particularly during periods of operational pressure, service reviews, inspections, audits, safeguarding matters, staffing challenges, new service developments and service changes.

The role will focus on supporting managers to plan, prioritise, manage risk, promote staff and tenant wellbeing, share good practice and maintain high-quality, person-centred care.

The successful candidate must have a positive, friendly and flexible attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with managers, staff, directors, tenants and external professionals.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience managing a learning disability service or similar, experience of managing staff teams across dispersed locations, and a good understanding of contractual and regulatory requirements. A recognised degree or relevant professional qualification is desirable, although candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. NVQ/RQF Level 5 in Care Management or equivalent is preferred.

The salary package will be discussed with the successful candidate.
