Bar Supervisor in Newtownabbey

We are looking for an energetic, charismatic, and hands-on Bar Supervisor to join our Truly Talented team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As Bar Supervisor, you'll play a key role in leading the day-to-day bar operation, motivating the team, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from the moment they arrive. You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages to the highest standards, overseeing smooth bar operations, supporting and guiding team members, and creating a vibrant atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. From crafting classic cocktails to delivering memorable customer interactions, you'll bring energy, professionalism, and personality to every shift.

The ideal person for this role will be a true epicurean – a food and drink enthusiast, who maintains a solid and up-to-date understanding of the restaurant and bar scene. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and service in the restaurant and the bar. Have in-depth knowledge of wines, cocktails and speciality drinks and take pride in learning our food menu as well. And enjoy engaging with guests, getting to know our regulars and learning to anticipate their needs. The core skills and experience required to succeed:

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
• Managing the day-to-day operations and activities within the Bar, ensuring the team deliver an exceptional experience for our guests;
• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues;
• Previous experience as a bartender in a busy environment;
• Excellent personal presentation;
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures;
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision;
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
• To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
