Responsible for leading the F&B team across multiple outlets in the Hilton Aberdeen Hotel, ensuring high-quality guest experience and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Assistant Operations Manager in leading a diverse team across the Quarter House Restaurant, Flight Path and conference spaces, delivering a consistent and high‑quality guest experience.
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service from breakfast through to events and evening service.
  • Take a hands‑on approach during busy periods, coordinating service across restaurant dining, bar service and conference catering.
  • Lead, coach and develop the team, building a motivated and high‑performing environment across all F&B areas.
  • Manage guest feedback, special requests and escalations with confidence, ensuring a professional and positive outcome every time.
  • Work closely with the kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery for both daily service and functions.
  • Support the planning and execution of conferences, meetings and events, ensuring timings, set‑up and service standards are met.
  • Monitor stock levels across outlets, assist with ordering and inventory control and help manage costs effectively.
  • Assist with rota planning and staffing across multiple service areas, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
  • Ensure all areas meet health, safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean, compliant and welcoming environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and drive guest satisfaction across all F&B offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in food & beverage within a multi‑outlet environment, with supervisory or junior management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams across restaurant, bar and events settings.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, especially when coordinating multiple service areas.
  • Confident problem‑solver, able to manage guest expectations and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, particularly when handling events and conference service.
  • A collaborative team player, working closely with kitchen, bar and events departments.
  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working across varied service styles and busy operational periods.
  • Energetic and proactive, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
