We are currently looking for a Night Supervisor to join our Front Office Team at the Hilton Aberdeen TECA. The successful applicant will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be passionate about providing an excellent service and show that they care.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome late-arriving guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, and everything in between.
  • Handle night audits and end‑of‑day reports, keeping things organized and ready for the morning crew.
  • Take the lead as the Manager on Duty overnight, confidently overseeing hotel operations and acting as the main point of contact for guests and the team throughout the night.
  • Support and guide the night team during shift, ensuring tasks are completed smoothly and high standards of service are maintained at all times.
  • Be the go‑to for any guest requests or concerns during the night, providing assistance such as room service or resolving issues.
  • Handle any overnight incidents or emergencies calmly and professionally, following hotel procedures when needed.
  • Keep lobby and public areas tidy and welcoming, preparing the hotel for a fresh start each morning.
  • Monitor safety and security through regular checks, ensuring a peaceful night’s stay for guests.
  • Coordinate with the early morning team to hand off a seamless shift.
  • Build strong communication with other departments to pass on any important updates or guest requests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or finance roles, with an understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial reconciliation.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to handle guest enquiries professionally.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS).
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and the ability to remain focused and productive.
  • A natural night owl comfortable working through the late hours.
  • Friendly and welcoming, ready to offer service with a smile.
  • Good with numbers and detail‑oriented, especially when handling nightly audits and reports.
  • High energy and adaptability, thriving in the quiet but active world of night shifts.
