We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join us on a 12-month contract, working on a diverse mix of challenging, high-profile schemes.
Role Overview
You will provide high-quality design services across a range of projects, ensuring technical excellence, consistency and compliance. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will support project delivery, quality assurance and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review high-quality design documents, drawings and specifications.
- Support delivery of complex and specialist projects.
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Identify scope changes and support fee recovery where required.
- Provide support to junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
About You
- Experience in commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of Building Services Engineering systems.
- Proficient in sustainable design, renewable energy and low-carbon technologies.
- Able to assess project budgets and resource requirements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Degree in an engineering or environmental discipline; relevant memberships beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and design-related regulatory requirements.
