Hilson Moran is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering innovative design solutions across UK and international projects. We are seeking a Senior Public Health Design Engineer on a 12-month contract to support a range of complex and varied schemes.
Role Overview
You will deliver public health design services across commercial, residential and mixed-use projects, ensuring high technical standards and supporting project coordination, client communication and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver public health design work on projects of varying size and complexity.
- Prepare and review calculations, specifications and drawings to meet client briefs.
- Support project coordination and maintain high technical and quality standards.
- Lead or contribute to quality control processes and project risk mitigation.
- Support client communication, fee proposals and identification of scope changes.
- Produce project references/presentations and help build industry relationships.
About You
- BSc/MSc in Building Services Engineering Design; Chartered/working toward Chartership desirable.
- Strong expertise in Public Health Engineering (water services, drainage, rainwater systems).
- Experience across commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.
- Knowledge of sustainable and innovative public health design solutions.
- Strong client-facing, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and collaborative with strong technical capability.
