Façade access and working at height is a highly specialist field, and one where the right people really make the difference. We are a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a respected façade access and working-at-height team, trusted on complex and high-profile buildings across the UK and overseas. As our workload, client base and ambition continue to grow, we are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join us and be part of the next stage of that journey. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just their next role, someone who wants to develop a rare and valuable skill set, contribute to a growing specialist team, and build a long-term career in a business that is investing in the future. All appropriate levels will be considered.
The role
- From day one, you’ll be involved in meaningful, specialist work, supporting and contributing to façade access and working-at-height advice that genuinely improves how buildings are operated and maintained.
- Depending on your experience, your role may include:
- Contributing to façade access and maintenance strategy design
- Supporting and undertaking in-use audits, surveys, and inspections
- Advising on working-at-height solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Preparing clear, well-judged technical reports and recommendations
We don’t expect candidates to arrive with experience in every area. Many strong applicants will bring depth in some aspects of the role and less exposure in others (for example, façade access experience but limited working-at-height consultancy, or vice versa). That’s completely fine, we’ll actively support you as you broaden your expertise over time. You’ll be part of a collaborative, engaged team, trusted to ask questions, contribute ideas, and grow your capability in a supportive environment.
Career pathway & development
We are deliberately building for the long term. There is no glass ceiling here; progression is based on capability, commitment and contribution, not rigid titles or time served. As the team and service continue to grow, so do the opportunities. You’ll have the chance to:
- Deepen your expertise in a niche, high-value specialist discipline
- Broaden your client-facing and advisory role
- Play an active part in the evolution and growth of the team over time
- Develop leadership responsibility in line with your strengths and ambitions
Professional development, accreditation, and further education can be supported where it adds value to your progression.
Benefits
- Enhanced annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum, plus public holidays. Your annual leave entitlement will increase based on length of service with us up to 28 days plus public holidays.
- Enhanced company pension contribution.
- Annual budget to spend on personal wellbeing activities.
- Access to our healthcare scheme.
- Access to confidential wellbeing support services via our Employee Assistance Programme.
- Paid volunteering days to support causes important to you.
- Fun company events including our annual winter party and our full company summer social.
- Season ticket loans.
- Cycle to work scheme.
- Options for unpaid leave and career breaks.
About you
You’re likely to have experience in façade access, working at height, inspection, maintenance systems or a related technical field, and you’ll bring:
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence engaging with clients and project teams
- Strong judgement and attention to detail
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to keep learning
A degree is not essential. Relevant experience, attitude, and potential matter far more.
Why join us?

- UK and international projects
- A specialist team that values collaboration, trust, and new ideas
- Clear, flexible career progression with no artificial limits
- Competitive salary, strong benefits, and flexible working
