This role supports the supervisor, helps resolve shop floor issues, serves as a key point of contact between teams and contributes to the smooth running of the night operation. You will receive forklift training and handle scanning, sorting and system-driven tasks.
Responsibilities
- Scan products with accuracy
- Operate automated machinery after training
- Support stock flow and maintain an efficient workflow
- Act as the link between operatives and the supervisor, helping resolve issues on the shop floor
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers when required
- Keep the work area safe, tidy and compliant
- Learn and operate a forklift once trained
Requirements
- Strong IT skills, particularly with scanners and basic systems
