£24-28 p/h – CIS
08:00-17:00 onsite hours + door-to-door pay + 25p per mile fuel + expenses

MDE Consultants are supporting a specialist electrical contracting organisation to recruit a new electrical supervisor as they continue to expand their presence in the sector! Working within energy sectors such as battery storage, solar, and peaking plants, the role involves managing projects up to 33kV. This organisation delivers comprehensive services, from feasibility and design through to construction and ongoing maintenance. With a focus on risk management, meeting deadlines, and ensuring high-quality outcomes, their aim is to create reliable and efficient energy systems tailored to each client’s needs. With experience across numerous sites and significant capacity projects, they offer expertise in both new developments and upgrades to existing assets, driving efficiency and value at every stage.
Roles and responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar, battery storage, and 33kV power systems, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and maintain safe systems of work on-site.
- Manage the installation and commissioning of HV infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, and cable terminations.
- Inspect electrical work for quality, maintain documentation, and ensure accurate as-built records.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and contractors to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
- Allocate resources, mentor the team, and ensure all personnel have appropriate training and certifications.
Required
- ECS/CSCS
- Fully electrically qualified (18th*, gold card*, 2391 preferred)
- Full driving license & willingness to travel
- Be CIS registered
- SSSTS (Preferred)
