Are you looking for a new challenge? Our client provides end-to-end solutions for bespoke control and factory automation systems, covering the design, build, and installation of manufacturing process equipment, packaging machinery, conveyor systems, robotics, and vision inspection technologies. They are looking to appoint an additional electromechanical fitter/installer who will bring automation aspirations to life across a variety of industry sectors (predominantly in food and beverage and plastic container handling) on ground-breaking projects.
You will be required to work both in-house reporting to the workshop manager and on customers' sites, reporting to the services director. Travel: Roughly 30-40% travel. It is hard to predict due to the nature of what we do but you should expect typically up to 2 weeks at a time, approx. 5 x per year, plus ad-hoc UK day trips and overnights. You could be in the workshop for 3 months and then in the US for 4 weeks. We always work with our teams to ensure they get the right work-life-travel balance. Some people want lots of travel, others less so. Our international customers are mainly in the USA and Canada; you’ll get a generous daily living allowance and stay in nice hotels while exploring local sites.
