Are you a hands-on Maintenance Operative with a strong mechanical and electrical background? Do you enjoy solving problems and keeping machinery and facilities running smoothly? If so, we want to hear from you!

We\’re seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Maintenance Operative to join our clients team and help maintain and improve the company\’s vital assets—including machinery, equipment, and buildings.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out routine preventative maintenance on plant, machinery and buildings
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns and safety issues to minimise downtime
  • Supporting repairs and providing analysis alongside the production and maintenance teams
  • Assisting with electrical/electronic tasks during peak periods or staff absence
  • Reporting any safety, breakdown, or environmental concerns to the Team Leader and Production Manager
  • Contributing actively to safety initiatives and procedures

What We\’re Looking For

  • Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds), ideally 17th / 18th Edition certified with PAT testing experience
  • Solid mechanical skills: welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, drives
  • An engieering minded, problem-solving approach
  • An understanding of PLC programming and electronic systems is a plus
  • A great communicator and collaborative team player
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
