Job Opportunity: Car Driver / Yard Operative
Location: Royal Portbury Dock, Bristol
Hours: Full-time / Day Shift / 07:00 15:30
Pay Rate: £12.41 to £24.82 per hour
Start Date: 28th July 2025
Are you passionate about cars? Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? We are recruiting Car Drivers / Yard Operatives to assist in managing and moving brand-new vehicles across secure compounds at Bristol Port.
The Role
- Drive and park brand-new right-hand drive vehicles within large port-based storage areas.
- Adhere to strict safety procedures and site traffic protocols.
- Conduct visual inspections and report any damage or issues.
- Support yard operations including stock management, car park organisation, and key control.
What Were Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (Category B) clean licence preferred.
- Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach.
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
- Previous experience in a similar role or logistics/port environment is advantageous but not essential full training will be provided.
