Reporting to: Production Manager / Head of Cultivation
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours)
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + local national bank holidays
To assist in establishing and maintaining the site Production operations including but not limited to Drying, Trimming, Labelling, Packaging (both manufactured cannabis product and imported cannabis-based product), contamination control, facility hygiene and waste control. The role will overlap with the cultivation activities and GDP activities. In addition, the role will support Change Control, Audits, risk assessments, customer complaints, CAPAs and deviations. The Production Operations as part of the Quality Management System must remain inspection ready.
Daily Activities
- Participation in all aspects of the QMS (including, but not limited to, Change Controls, CAPAs, Internal Audits, Incident and Deviations and Risk Assessments)
- Maintaining regulatory compliance
- Performing production tasks, including, but not limited to, Drying, Trimming, Packaging, Labelling, Kit Cleaning, Room Clearance and Set up
- Identifying areas for optimisation and implementing continuous improvement strategies
- Contributing to the creation of procedures for the production department
- Monitoring and controlling environmental conditions in key areas
- Recording information efficiently and in alignment with internal processes
- Performing cleaning, maintenance and calibration
- Contributing to Health and Safety of the facility and personnel
- Collaboration with other departments
- Assistance with Cultivation following training
- Development of “Green” Initiatives to increase the company’s sustainability
Key Outcomes
- Adherence of SOPs, work instructions pertaining to Production operations
- Completion of the Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) pertaining to Production operations
- Ensuring traceability of batches from Cultivation and/or Warehouse
- Ensuring consistent product quality
- Safe working environment by adherence to PPE and other Health and Safety requirements
- Regulatory compliance by adhering to all requirements via SOPs
Administration
- Documentation writing including protocols, reports and presentations
- Authoring of procedures, forms, and policies
