About the Employer

Hillside House Nursery Lyth Hill is a pre‑school and nursery offering a comprehensive and exciting curriculum for young children from birth to five years of age.

We are open fifty-one weeks of the year and our operating times are Monday to Friday from 7:50am to 6:00pm.

We aim for our children to be happy, fit, and healthy, confident and secure, sociable, kind and caring, independent with a clear idea of right and wrong, eager to learn, and having a big sense of fun.

We utilise the surrounding areas frequently, taking the children on regular countryside walks to the farm and forest garden adventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key person for a group of children
  • Support planning, observations, and assessments
  • Ensure the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children at all times
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
