The Sport Department at Hills Road Sixth Form College is highly successful. It works in a supportive environment which values academic as well as sporting excellence. There are three members of teaching staff delivering A level, four support staff, and a further 12 part‑time staff that contribute to the delivery of the Enrichment programme/College sport. The College has a strong sporting tradition and runs very successful teams in all major games. Whilst striving for sporting excellence, the Department fully supports sport equity and encourages all students, irrespective of gender and ability, to realise their full potential. The Department offers a wide variety of sporting activities as part of the Enrichment programme, so that the elite and social player are equally provided for.
Role Responsibilities
A key aspect of this role involves taking a holistic approach to developing our men’s football team—fostering not only technical and tactical growth, but also building a strong, positive team culture. The successful candidate will be committed to nurturing the right mindset among players, with a focus on resilience, teamwork, and continuous improvement both on and off the pitch.
