About the role:
As our Disposal Team Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support to the Waste Disposal Operations team, including account management, and coordinate compost sales. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Your key responsibilities as our Disposal Team Coordinator will include:
- Handling incoming telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally, capturing useful marketing data.
- Assisting the Key Account Manager with preparing sales quotations and agreements, and following up to convert leads into orders/contracts.
- Maintaining an up-to-date database of quotations and agreements.
- Managing compost sales, including quoting, order processing, delivery coordination, and cash sale payments.
- Administering hazardous waste consignment notes and ensuring producer returns are completed as required.
- Communicating customer account and contract details to operational staff for waste tipping and product delivery.
- Providing technical support for internal software systems as directed by management.
- Compiling and submitting quarterly waste returns, including hazardous waste returns, to the Environment Agency.
- Maintaining contractor and supplier information on internal databases (Entropy).
