Hills Waste Solutions is looking for a Drivers Mate to join our team in Lower Compton, Calne. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package.

As a Drivers Mate, you'll work alongside an LGV Driver, travelling across Wiltshire and surrounding areas to collect trade waste and mixed recycling. You'll build positive relationships with customers, assist with route planning, and play a key role in delivering an efficient and reliable collection service.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the collection of trade waste and mixed recycling, including the safe handling and movement of wheelie bins.
  • Complete and maintain accurate collection and transaction records, ensuring all documentation is processed correctly.
  • Assist with a variety of depot and yard duties as required, helping to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Champion high standards of health, safety and professionalism, contributing to a positive working environment for colleagues, customers and the wider community.

  • A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and undertake a physically active role.

  • Knowledge of the Waste industry would be advantageous.
