About the role: Join a warm, supportive team helping autistic children and young people to learn, grow and achieve their potential. Term‑time only, permanent 38.5 hrs per week, with the opportunity to participate in a 4‑Day Working Week trial (pay for five days but work four!). Salary is £24,675 per year (not pro‑rata). Key responsibilities:
- Support pupils aged 11‑19 with Autism in small class groups.
- Encourage independence, confidence and communication.
- Help teachers prepare lessons and learning activities.

Qualifications and experience:
- Enthusiasm, patience and a genuine desire to help others.
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with Autism or other SEN is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
