We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our service as SAS Team Manager, leading a multidisciplinary team that supports children and young people with SEND (0–25) across educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to a specialist advisory team delivering high‑quality, preventative SEND support.
  • Ensure consistent use of the My Support Plan, Ordinarily Available Provision, and local SEND pathways.
  • Support the implementation of evidence‑based strategies that promote inclusion in nurseries, schools and colleges.
  • Offer professional guidance, coaching and training to staff in education settings to strengthen SEND practice.
  • Work collaboratively with families and partners across education, health and social care.
  • Contribute to pre‑statutory processes where required, including assessments and reviews.
  • Use data, reporting and evaluation to inform service improvement and ensure value for money.
  • Lead Inclusion Network for Education with Colleagues in SEND, Inclusion and Education.
