About the role

The Safeguarding Partnership is recruiting to a permanent position as Practice Development Manager. We seek an experienced Adult Social Worker, with a focus on adult mental health. This person will have a leading role in progressing the priorities of the Safeguarding Adults Board and, where relevant, the Safeguarding Children Partnership and the development of our strategic response to safeguarding in Hillingdon.
Core responsibilities include coordinating the activity of subgroups focussed on specific areas of safeguarding practice. The role includes writing, leading and analysing multiagency audits of practice, contributing to the identification of learning from serious safeguarding incidents in addition to the development of tools, strategies and resources that promote best practice in safeguarding adults.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, and to lead on multiagency auditing activity including the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data working collaboratively with internal and external partners.
