You'll join our Performance & Insights team, supporting statutory reporting, data validation, and administrative processes that ensure the council operates smoothly and meets its obligations.

This role is ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about data management in a professional environment.

  • Support the collection, validation, and entry of data for statutory reports
  • Assist in preparing and submitting reports on time and accurately
  • Manage team email inboxes and respond to data queries efficiently
  • Support responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather and verify data
  • Help improve data reporting processes and identify workflow efficiencies
  • Assist with transition to automated reporting solutions
  • Contribute to maintaining high data quality and integrity
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team

Qualifications

  • GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and ICT
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic data entry processes

Applicants must

  • Meet the residency criteria of 3 years lawful residence in the UK
  • Hold a visa that covers the full length of the apprenticeship, where applicable
  • Not be in full-time education at the time of applying
