Our supervised contact service plays a pivotal role in reuniting children and their families, contributing to a brighter future for those in need. As a Family Time Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Supervising and observing contact sessions between children/young people and their parents or family members. Safely transporting or escorting children to and from contact sessions. Observing, recording and reporting sessions. Producing high-quality and comprehensive reports for court when required. About You We\’re searching for a dedicated and motivated individual who possesses the following qualities: A \”can-do\” attitude and a passion for working with children and families. Excellent teamwork skills. Flexibility to meet the demands of our busy service. Effective communication skills, especially when working with children, their families, foster carers, and colleagues. The ability to build strong working relationships with our Social Work Colleagues, foster carers, and associated professionals. To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Experience of working with looked-after children, children in need, or vulnerable children and their families is essential for this role. To be available to work outside of 10.00am to 6pm Monday to Friday as transporting children to and from placement before and after a contact will be needed. To be flexible – although you\’ll be allocated families to observe in advance, changes can be made during the week due to new referrals. A valid driving license and access car for work purposes.
