Our Hillier Garden Centre at Newbury is a well-established and popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts, outdoor living products and expert advice. The primary purpose of the Garden Centre Shop Manager role is to oversee the day-to-day operations within the shop and food hall area of the garden centre. This includes ensuring high standards of customer service and product quality, optimising performance and profitability, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety protocols. The role also involves working closely with management to meet revenue objectives and ensuring the smooth operation of the shop and food hall within budget.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis of 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis.

  • Previous experience in retail management.
