Our Hillier Garden Centre at Eastbourne is a popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts and outdoor living products. Our on‑site restaurant is a key part of the experience, providing our customers with delicious, freshly prepared dishes, cakes and beverages. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our restaurant team and help create memorable dining experiences for our customers.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will assist with kitchen operations by:

  • washing dishes
  • maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • supporting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks
  • ensuring the kitchen area remains tidy and organized

These responsibilities help ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and provides an excellent dining experience for customers.

Offered on a part‑time, fixed‑term contract until 30 September 2026, with guaranteed 30 hours per week, scheduled on a rota basis. Rate of pay of up to £12.71 per hour. Sociable hours (daytime only).
