The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Duties include working closely with the Tax Principals and other members of the team to achieve results and create an excellent team environment. Responsibilities involve liaising with and meeting clients to understand and satisfy their requirements, preparing personal, partnership and trust tax returns for more complex clients, reviewing personal tax returns, advice or other technical work prepared by junior members of the team, identifying tax planning opportunities, advising clients and helping to implement chosen options, and assisting with HMRC enquiries and compliance checks.
Working together with multiple teams and Principals, as necessary, across the firm on ad-hoc advisory work in order to deliver solutions.
The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified or equivalent with 2+ years PQE, experience gained in a personal tax practice, and be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and an ability to manage junior team members. The candidate should have the ability to work on a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for compliance work and identifying tax planning opportunities, good IT skills and familiarity with digital tax software, up-to-date technical tax knowledge evidenced by recent training and experience, and the ability to communicate well with clients and colleagues.
Employment details include a full-time role Monday to Friday (flexible time policy combination of office/home working). Remuneration is dependent on experience and right to work in the UK is required. The package will include an annual Christmas bonus equivalent to 1 week's salary, a salary-sacrifice pension scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility, private medical insurance following completion of 3 months' service (taxable benefit), death in service scheme cover (4x salary), group income protection scheme (non-contributory) following completion of 3 months' service, and annual leave of 25 days per year, with 3 days normally taken at Christmas/New Year.
