Support Worker - Perth and Kinross

We are looking to recruit Support Workers at our Perth Outreach Service and An Cala Supported Accommodation in Kinross

The Service

At An Cala we provide housing support and care at home services to adults living in Kinross and the surrounding area. We support individuals with a variety of support needs, including learning disability, autism, mental health and complex needs. An Cala is a small service supporting four individuals within a custom-built accommodation in Kinross.

Our Perth Outreach Services provide a variety of tenancy support services to enable people with mental health, drug and alcohol and learning difficulties to maintain their homes across the Perth and Kinross area.

The Role

You will provide active support to enable individuals to achieve their full potential through a holistic and person-centred approach. We provide a wide range of training and development opportunities to support you in your role.

You Will

• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have IT skills
• Have the ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis
• Have good time keeping, time management and organisational skills
• Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification, or have the ability and willingness to undertake study to achieve this qualification
• You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
