Being a Support Worker with Hillcrest Futures isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity to empower people to live life their way, based on their own choices, interests, and individuality.
Your role as a Support Worker involves helping the people we support live independently, whilst still being able to access the community as much as possible.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Support Worker:
- Celebrating individuality: by providing person-centred care that reflects each person’s personality, goals, and preferences
- Supporting individuals with a variety of needs: including autism, dementia, drug and alcohol, epilepsy, learning disabilities and mental health support
- Empowering independence: by supporting people to make decisions and live life on their terms and choices
- Building meaningful connections: by creating relationships based on trust, respect, and understanding
- Bringing positivity every day: by helping individuals thrive in their own unique way
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a difference
- Great communication and listening skills
- Flexibility and adaptability as no two days are the same as a Support Worker within our Crieff Services
- Experience is not essential as here at Hillcrest Futures, we provide full training for the role
Please Note: If you do not have a qualification in Health and Social Care, you will be required to undertake this as a requirement to register with the Scottish Social Services Council.
