About the Department
The Asset Management Team is part of the Property Department and works across all companies within Hillcrest. Our main purpose is to ensure all residential and commercial properties are managed and maintained in compliance with statutory and legislative requirements and for ensuring the delivery of high-quality effective asset investment services.
About the Role
You will:
- Play a key role and provide oversight and technical expertise in supporting major improvements works, remedial structural works, large-scale reactive repair works, retrofit and energy efficiency initiatives ensuring the projects run on time and on budget and deliver a tenant-focused customer service.
- Assist existing teams to ensure contractor works are fully compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements for Fire Safety, Asbestos Management and Gas and Electric Safety works.
- Be required to participate in a standby rota for dealing with out of hours emergency repairs. There is a separate payment for this role with a current commitment of 1:12 weeks.
- Following a successful probationary period, the post-holder will have the option of an element of hybrid working in accordance with the company’s policy.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Qualified in construction or facilities management.
- Has hands-on experience with managing construction work and improvements works as part of a project team.
- Can evidence that they are a genuine team player.
- Is proficient in MS Office Suite with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Is organised, a problem-solver, and an excellent communicator.
- Is collaborative, adaptable, and sustainability focused.
