At Hillarys, we are proud to be part of the Hunter Douglas Group, a leading global manufacturer of window coverings. We specialise in delivering innovative home solutions and premium service. As a growing and dynamic company, our internal design team plays a critical role in shaping the visual presence of multiple brands across the Hunter Douglas portfolio. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days working from our offices in Nottingham and 2 days working from home.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on digital innovation, is passionate about print, and has a flair for striking the perfect balance between technical precision and creative impact.
You'll be responsible for creating and developing design assets across a wide mix of marketing channels, including social media, digital display, web and print. Working across multiple brands, your ideas and execution will have a real, visible impact on our customer-facing communications. This is a collaborative, hands-on role within a specialist in-house team, where creativity, curiosity and attention to detail really matter.
As our Digital/Graphic Designer, here's what you'll be doing:
- Developing and delivering design projects from brief through to final output, ensuring everything aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
- Creating engaging assets for digital, social, email, web and print
- Collaborating closely with internal marketing teams who own specific channels, including social media, email and website content
- Bringing fresh thinking to campaigns while maintaining strong brand consistency
- Staying up to date with design trends, technology/AI and inspiration to continually elevate our creative output
- Contributing ideas to improve studio processes, workflows and creative standards
Interested? Here's what we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a graphic design role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative work for mass communication
- Confidence designing across both print and digital is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
- Proficiency in Figma or similar plus Adobe Creative Suite
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to solve design challenges thoughtfully
- A solid understanding of digital best practice, including responsive design and accessibility
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally
Why should you consider this role? Here are just a few reasons:
- Make an impact - be part of a specialist in-house design team and see your work come to life across multiple channels
- Think forward - help shape and improve our creative processes and standards
- Grow with us - develop your career within a market-leading organisation that values creativity, innovation and quality
- A supportive, friendly studio environment with room to contribute ideas and take ownership
When you join us, you will receive a wide range of benefits, including generous colleague discount for you, your family and friends, a healthcare and lifestyle benefits package, a wide range of wellbeing initiatives, and a fantastic office environment.
We understand that there is no 'one size fits all' approach, and with this in mind, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace where every colleague feels valued and comfortable to be their true self. If you require any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process, please do let us know and we will be happy to accommodate. Everyone who applies will receive a response.
