Hunter Douglas, the global leader in window coverings and architectural products, is known for innovation, craftsmanship, and delivering outstanding quality across its brands and collections. As we are continually innovating in our product offerings, we are looking for a Product Configuration Analyst to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract to design, build, and validate SAP product configuration to support a major product introduction into the UK market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and creation of product structures and configuration in SAP.
- Lead the creation of documentation, covering requirements, technical specification, project planning and execution.
- Understand SAP Variant Configuration (VC): characteristics, classes, rules and dependencies to support production of project documentation and processes.
- Manage diverse stakeholders and represent IT Product delivery, working directly with experienced analysts, IT partners and cross-functional teams.
- Translate product specifications into end-to-end system logic.
- Close alignment with Technical, Product and Supply Chain colleagues to manage third party relationships.
- Facilitate project testing lifecycle (Unit, SIT and UAT), steering test criteria based on complexity of projects, tracking defects through to go-live readiness.
- Support cutover preparation and business readiness ahead of go-live.
- Facilitate post-go live hypercare period, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
About You
- Hands-on experience with SAP VC, including product structures, dependencies, variant tables, and configurable BOMs.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
- Skilled at translating technical requirements into system logic.
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT cycles and defect resolution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and data analysis (mapping, extraction, validation).
- A collaborative team player able to work under pressure and manage priorities.
- Flexible, proactive, and confident establishing new processes.
