We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hard-working Product Support member to join our department in Washington.
The purpose of this role is to assist the Section Leader and the team to achieve departmental KPI's such as quality, efficiency, service, waste and to ensure the production process flows to avoid any production hold ups and/or bottlenecks.
Your responsibilities include...
- Monitoring daily stock levels and replenish through the use of SAP/Outlook to ensure production capabilities can be achieved.
- Carrying out quality checks at each step of the process on any Production Operative undergoing a training programme.
- Ensuring deliveries from Warehouse are checked, as well as ensuring daily stock levels checks are carried out within the PSA area.
- Identifying and resolving training needs and communicating this to the Section Leader.
- Ensuring that all finished products reach Despatch on time and in full to the required by date as well as ensuring the COOIS report has been completed.
- Ensure quality issues are labelled and scrapped in accordance with Company procedure.
- Ensure all docket queries are directed to Manufacturing Control immediately for resolution.
- Assist with all internal quality audits within the Department.
- Work closely with the Section Leader in the event of a machine breakdown, ensuring Company breakdown procedure is applied.
The successful and ideal candidate will
- Have a full awareness and commitment to Health and Safety in line with the Company’s Health and Safety policy, and ideally have completed, or willing to complete, the Managing Safely Awareness course.
- Have a grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Have experience working in a Production environment, and an understanding of SAP.
- Possess a basic understanding of MS Word. Outlook and Excel
- Hold excellent communication skills and are highly organised.
- Be flexible, adapt to change and able to contribute to overtime commitments.
