Commercial Kitchen and Butchery , you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of food professionals including chefs, cooks and butchers.

You will be responsible for processing, packaging and dispatch of products, upholding the high presentation, quality and safety standards that Hill Street is known for.

  • You Will Need
  • Efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, and strong English literacy and numeracy
  • Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction.
  • The ability to follow company procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
  • Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week.

Your standard roster will be agreed based on your availability and our operational requirements, with flexibility to suit your needs.

  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing.
  • Your own transport - shifts begin at 5am.

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and stamina, to enable you to stand for long periods and perform manual handling, bending and lifting/moving of items (from 16-55kg, in line with Australian Work Safe standards).

You must be prepared to work with meat (and other raw food products) in a cool manufacturing/production environment.

Previous experience in a food production facility is beneficial, but not essential.
