Our client, a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join their senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished operational leader to play a key role in shaping the future of a successful business.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Company Owner, you will take ownership of construction operations, driving project delivery, improving operational performance, and implementing new processes and systems to support continued growth.

/n

The Role
/n As Head of Operations, you will oversee multiple projects across the business, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be instrumental in reviewing existing ways of working, introducing more efficient systems and processes, and developing high-performing operational teams.

/n

Key responsibilities include:

/n

/n
- Providing strategic leadership across all construction operations.
/n
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Company Owner.
/n
- Leading the successful delivery of multiple live construction projects.
/n
- Implementing and embedding new operational processes and management systems.
/n
- Driving continuous improvement across project delivery, quality, health & safety, and client satisfaction.
/n
- Managing, mentoring, and developing operational teams.
/n
- Working closely with commercial and pre-construction teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
/n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
/n

About You
/n To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within the construction industry.
/n
- Essential experience managing cladding remediation and/or social housing projects.
/n
- A strong track record of overseeing multiple projects and leading large operational teams.
/n
- Experience implementing new systems, processes, and operational improvements.
/n
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
/n
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational performance and business objectives.
/n
