Hill McGlynn is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing fit out and refurbishment contractor for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager looking to work on a diverse range of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across London, Kent and the surrounding areas. While the company's office is based in Tower Hamlets, the role will involve managing projects across multiple locations.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple fit out and refurbishment projects from pre-start through to completion. Working closely with clients, site teams and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple fit out and refurbishment projects simultaneously.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee all phases of project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Identify and resolve project risks and challenges proactively.
- Produce regular progress reports and attend client meetings.
- Maintain high standards of quality throughout each project.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a Project Manager within the fit out and refurbishment sector (essential).
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Experience within retail fit out and refurbishment would be highly advantageous.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
