Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable electrical subcontractor for an experienced Electrician to work on a hotel refurbishment project located in SW1, Westminster, London. This is a long-term contract with a duration of 3 months, offering stable work on a well-structured, multi-phase refurbishment scheme across three floors.

The Role

  • Works will include strip-out, 1st fix, and 2nd fix installation of new electrical systems in areas such as kitchens, bars, and other internal spaces within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the strip-out of existing electrical systems
  • Supporting 1st and 2nd fix installations
  • Working across multiple floors and phased areas
  • Installing new electrical services in kitchens, bars, and other fit-out zones
  • Following instructions from site supervisors and senior electricians
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to specification

Requirements

  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Valid ECS card (Improver level or above)
  • Previous experience working on commercial or hospitality refurbishment projects
  • Strong understanding of 1st and 2nd fix electrical works
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Available for long-term work in central London (SW1)
