Resident Liaison Officer - Permanent Position

Hill McGlynn is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a residential cladding project based in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with a reputable contractor delivering essential remediation works within an occupied residential environment.
The Role:
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between residents, the site team, and project stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in ensuring clear communication, minimising disruption, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Provide clear and regular updates on project progress, timelines, and upcoming works
- Coordinate access to properties where required for inspections and works
- Manage complaints and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where necessary
- Work closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure resident needs are considered
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and project communications
- Support community engagement initiatives and meetings
- Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role within construction or social housing
- Experience working on cladding or external façade projects is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
